At the end of 2011, it was on my "goals and aims for 2012" list to start doing outfit posts. Well, I can happily tick that off cos there's 23 of them. This was my first ever proper outfit post and I hate it, cringe! - Although only a small number, I've still made the effort to get dressed, make sure my camera's charged, set up my tripod, set the timer, run into shot then spent ages converting raw files to tif files, editing and finally, saving as jpeg files & uploading (if you're into photography, you'll understand what I'm on about!). However, there is room for improvement. I'm going to put it on my 2013 goals list to start doing outfit posts a little more regularly! On a whole, my outfit posts are the most viewed and most commented on types of posts, so would you like to see more? - Saying that, I'm often in pyjamas if I'm not going out, so I'm not going to get all dressed up just to blog. Apologies for the picture heavy post, but a lot of you said on Twitter you don't mind lots of photos. I myself, love noseying on lifestyle posts so the more photos the better! I've had an absolutely lovely Christmas. I've definitely put on a couple of stone though! - and to top it all, it's my birthday in four days. Yiiiiiiikes!
Christmas is simply my favourite time of year. I love spending money on finding perfect presents for people, I love my Nan's roast potatoes and I love having an excuse for being lazy for two weeks. We've made this Christmas extra special for my Nan as she was diagnosed with breast cancer about a month ago which has come as a huge shock to us all. I'm extremely close to all my family. I love my Nan for everything she is going through and also for being the only person to not shed a tear out of all of us. My Grandad inspires me in many ways and personality wise, me and him are exactly the same. We're both independent, reserved and stubborn. We both love literature, cameras and food. He's my best friend. The little girl pictured above is my Cousin Ellie-Mae who is the highlight of my life if I'm honest. Nothing makes me smile more than spending time with her. On another happy note, it was mine and my boyfriend's first Christmas together. I think he liked all his presents (unless he was putting on that famous "oh i love it!" act). I got him a new coat, four jumpers, pj bottoms, boxers, socks, bed socks (cos he always nicks mine!), two cook books and an electric whisker (cos he cooks *smiley face*) and a woolly hat + gloves. He totally surprised me with a basket hamper of american candy goodies which I'm trying to refrain myself from eating/drinking all at once! I got the cutest teddy who I've named Ron cos the scarf he's wearing looks like a Gryffindor scarf, a yankee candle and some dvds; including two zombie ones which are my FAVOURITES.

Christmas is over! I hope you all had a lovely Christmas and are enjoying the last of the festive period. Even if you don't celebrate Christmas, I hope everyone's had a good week so far! Today I'm off to my Aunt's house to have our last of the Christmas get-togethers this year; which means more photos, more food and more presents!
The day before Christmas Eve, I finally got round to visiting Winter Wonderland in Hyde park. I've only been once before which happened to be last year but this year was so much better! There were a lot more stalls and rides! I even found myself going on the 'power tower' sky drop and the 'star flyer' which took us 60 metres in the air! Unbelievably high and scary! We also took a fifteen minute ride on the big wheel which I didn't get round to doing last year; the view was incredible.
Winter Wonderland is open till 6th January so you still have plenty of time to head on down there. I really recommend it! Although everything is stupidly overpriced (the rides were around £6 each) it's only there once a year!
This was meant to be posted yesterday but I totally forgot to blog and therefore it's being posted on a Monday :( Anywho, IT'S CHRISTMAS EVE! Yesterday, I finally got round to going Winter Wonderland with my boyfriend, sister and her friend. It was definitely a lot better than last year. I even found myself going on the sky drop ride. And i hate rides! Felt suuuuuper brave! Today to kill time, I ventured to the cinema to watch Home Alone and Pitch Perfect with my sister and her friend. Awesome films! I absolutely love Rebel Wilson! I'm off to the midnight mass at Church tonight. I haven't been in years which is really bad but I feel I should go this year to make up for all the years I have missed. I'm round my nan and grandad's tomorrow afternoon as a family tradition so I will definitely be coming home with a food baby... or food twins?! Merry Christmas!
This month I've lost a lot of motivation for uni and it just seem like I'm heading towards the direction of a brick wall. I have a big decision to make over the Christmas holidays. If anyone reading has been in the same position as me before, then please let me know in a comment.

The lovely Emma sent me some of her handmade collar brooches a few weeks ago and I absolutely love them! The scrabble ones are my initials (obviously) and I know I will wear a lot! I haven't had the chance to wear them yet and outfit posts are on the backseat at the moment due to the wonderful autumn rain and wind. 001: Went to East End Promises Christmas gig last Saturday night which was really good! EEP are a four piece indie/rock band based in East London. I really recommend you check out their website here and give them a listen! I haven't stopped listening to their album 'Alan and the White Horse'. My favourites are 'heads and tails' and 'sinned'.
002: Finally finished all my Christmas shopping and it feels so nice to just sit back and relax, whilst last minute shoppers bustle their way through crowds and queue for hours. I've gone a bit made this year with spending (I always do) but I'm happy with everything I've bought. I can't wait to see everyone's faces on Christmas Day and Boxing Day. Christmas truly is the most special time of year.
003: Keeping with the Christmas spirit, me and Andrew had a day out in London on Friday. We was originally going to do Christmas shopping, winter wonderland and Southbank Market all in one but we never had time for winter wonderland, so that's something we will do next week! Southbank market is LOVELY. I really recommend you visit it if you haven't already. Andrew bought a German sausage with bacon inside which was apparently really nice and I got some nachos (one way to win my heart!) - and we just had a complete '"fat day" as we like to call it: including buying and demolishing all different types of fudge, going Selfridge's (to be posh) and buying almost every flavour jelly belly beans and then getting home after a long day with dinner from the chippy!
